Hi, My husband and I are flying into Zurich during second week of April. We plan to spend about 6-7 nights in Switzerland and then will fly out of Zurich. What is best possible itinerary to take see Zurich, take Glacier Express, and visit Jungfraujoch? Any other suggestions or cities we should include?

    Hi Lakshmi,

Just a suggestion: go straight from Zurich via Lucerne to Interlaken via the Golden Pass line. Stroll a few hours in Lucerne if you have time. Stay for 3 nights and visit Jungfraujoch on the best weather day. Then go to Brig to pick up the Glacier Express to St. Moritz and stay a few night there. Finally one night in Zurich, either in the city center or an airport hotel with shuttle service to the airport. A Swiss Travel Pass would cover the train rides.

If you prefer a package, then have a look at railbookers.com/jungfraujoch-glacier-express. This fits your ideas almost exactly, but they can adjust the package to your needs (e.g. start and end in Zurich). Just click the “Send a request” link in the upper right corner of their page.

    Does this help?
