A couple of questions regarding buying tickets

I just purchased our seat reservations for both the Bernina & Glacier express trains, but I’m a little confused as to how I purchase the actual tickets when they become available?

Do I return to the website to purchase them or do we need to pick them up at the train station in Tirano before we board? If we purchase them on the website how do we avoid paying for the tickets plus another seat reservation?

    Thanks,
    Greg

Hello Greg. You can simply purchase your tickets right before boarding at Tirano. It’s important that you’ve arranged for your seat reservations, as these guarantee your seat in the train. The tickets themselves don’t have to be purchased in advance, so you don’t have to do this online. Moreover, not all websites allow you to purchase the 50% discount that you need with your Swiss Half Fare Card, so it’s easier to buy your tickets on the spot.
