My husband and I are travelling to Switzerland in May 15. We will have a car however we are trying to workout which rail pass would be best for us to cover the trips below.

We arrive late in Interlaken on 25 May for 3 nights and wish to do Jungfraujoch on day 1 and Interlaken and surrounds on day 2. We would like to catch the train to Bern and return on day 3 before we drive to Lucerne. We have 4 nights in Lucerne so day 1 is the local area, day 2 Mt Titlus and day 3 Zurich and return unless you have any recommendations which might enhance our trip.

Hello Yolanda, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

A Swiss Half Fare Card seems to suit your plans. That’s often the case for those traveling by car and making some additional train trips and mountain top visits. The Swiss Half Fare Card gets you 50% off on all trips you intend to make, and that will be a lot cheaper than buying regular tickets. Please visit the Swiss Half Fare Card page for details, where to buy, etc.
