About rail security in Switzerland

    The trip to Swiss seems attractive to me .

    But there is one thing I concern about.

    Are there any security crew with hand held metal detectors to check your luggage?

    Welcome to MySwissAlps Titite!

    There are random security, ticket and passport checks, no standard checks on all trains. Checks are more thorough on border crossing trains. What item are you planning to take along? I didn’t understand the image you attached. Even if you carry a metal object there should be no problem if you have a good reason for it.
