I will be sight seeing in Montreux from 29th September. Ii would love to see the alpine garden at Les Rochers de Naye, but have seen a couple of posts saying it closes in mid September. Others say early october. Can anyone confirm the dates for me? I realsie that it will be at the end of its season, but I am still interested.

Hi Oztraveller. Closure dates of such alpine gardens can be different each year, depending on weather circumstances and snow heights. Generally, the garden at Rochers de Naye can be visited until mid September to mid October. You can best ask for up to date information once you’re there; try the local tourist office or the rail staff.

Thank you Annika. I will just have to wait and see! If it does snow early I will be happy about that too and will have to see the garden another time.
