    Hi all,

The wife and I will be in Switzerland for 30 days starting July 17th and have purchased a 30 day Swiss SaverPass. This will be our first trip back since we lived in Italy, 20 years ago.
We will be at Wengen for a week and we just wanted to be sure of the discounts we have in that area. We know that the train to Wengen is covered by the pass. And that we get a 50% discount to Kleine Scheidegg – 25% to Jungfraujoch. But does the pass cover 100% to Murren from Lauterbrunen via Grutschalp – or from Stechelberg via cablecar?
Does the pass give us a discount on the privately owned Grindelwald Bus? And we are guessing that we are correct that we get a 50% on the Grindelwald-First gondola?
    Sorry – three questions.
    Thanks

    Hi Jerry,

Welcome to the forum! The train from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen is indeed covered by the Swiss Saver Pass. From Wengen to Kleine Scheidegg and on the Jungfraujoch a 25% discount applies. The trip to Mürren through either Grütschalp or Stechelberg is for free. For the Grindelwald Bus you’ll receive a 50% discount. For details, please visit the Grindelwald Bus website. And indeed, the gondolas from Grindelwald to First are discounted by 50% as well.

On the Swiss Pass page you’ll find a link to a map, showing an exact overview of the network on which the Swiss Saver Pass is valid.

Please feel free to ask any other questions as well!
