Friends, I’m looking for suggestions on a 3 1/2 day itinerary in Bernese Oberland. Planning to arrive in Luzern on June 29’th noon (at 1:30pm) for a night’s stay and got accommodations booked at Lauterbrunnen for next 3 nights before departing to Paris via (Golden Pass) Zweisimmien->Montreux->Lausanne->Paris.

Presently my plan is to cover Luzern City walk, Mt Pilatus, Schilthorn Peak, North Face Trail, Paragliding at Lauterbrunnen. Any suggestions to make my trip even better ?. We are family of 4, consisting of 2 kids travelling from Canada and wanted to do it easy without much stress.

Given that you are doing the Schilthorn stop at Birg on the way up and do the thrill walk and the restaurant there is good value. On the way down explore the the quaint car free town of Murren and either walk down to Gimmelwald – beautiful scenic 30 min downhill walk and there get the gondola to Stechelberg and bus to Lauterbrunnen – maybe stop of and look at the falls on the way back. Alternative from Murren take the small train across the top of the ridge back to Grutschalp and gondola back to Lauterbrunnen
