My Wife and I have this Itenirary.

Day 1 travel from Zurich Airport to Lauterbrunnen. Our home base.

Day 2 travel to Wengen and Jungfraugoch.

Day 3 Travel to Grindenwald by Train and return by Cable Car.

Day 4 train travel to some of the smaller towns, maybe a half day in Lauterbrunnen to see the Falls.

Day 5 Train travel to Doomossola and travel into Italy.

We will then be traveling to 3 locations in Italy for 9 days Would a Euro 4 country rail pass be better?

    Hi TomBolda,

The passes to consider have been explained in your previous topic. The Swiss Half Fare Card is another alternative that may work out just a bit cheaper. If you want to calculate the price difference of all options, please follow these instructions.

I do not recommend a 4-country Eurail Pass. It provides less discounts in Switzerland, and you’re only traveling in 2 countries. I suggest one of the discussed passes for Switzerland, plus a separate pass for Italy (correctly with an extra day of traveling included).

Does this help you making a choice?
