    Hello

I am coming to interlaken on 24th august. Can i buy half fare card in interlaken ost or west station?

Also can i buy tickets to jungfrau directly at interlaken ost station? Is the price different for buying jungfrau ticket online and buying directly at station? Do we get place to sit if we buy tickets directly at interlaken ost?

    Hello Ashish!

Yes, the Swiss Half Fare Card is for sale at the Interlaken railway stations. However, it’s much cheaper to order it online in advance through one of the resellers listed at http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isshalffarecard/price. Since you’re from France, the cheapest option for you is to buy through http://www.acprail.com /rail-passes/swiss-half-fare-card.

Tickets for the Jungfraujoch can be bought in Interlaken. They don’t include seat reservations. You can buy reservations separately for the leg Kleine Scheidegg-Jungfraujoch, but in most cases this isn’t necessary. Only do so if a very crowded day is expected. Please see http://www.myswissalps .com/jungfraujoch/tick ets for more information and tips.

    Hello Annika,

You mentioned that i can buy half fare card from acprail.com. After ordering on this site how i get the pass? Is it delivered at my address? Also do i need to validate it in Interlaken before using it?

I also see http://www.swiss-pass.ch/en where we can buy half fare card but it has no mention of ‘acprail’. Is it really trustable site? Sorry to ask you this since i have no confidence yet since i have not used it

    Thanks in Advance

    Regards,Ashish

    Hi Ashish,

If you go to the first link Annika gave you (http://www.myswissalps.com/sw isshalffarecard/price), you will find all trusted points of sale. I don’t know the website you mentioned, but ACP Rail (http://www.acprail.com/rail-passes/swiss-half-fare-card) is perfectly fine and also cheaper. They will send the pass via regular mail and delivery takes 2 to 7 days. I recently purchased a Swiss Half Fare Card there myself.

If you prefer the “official” SBB webshop then please go to http://www.swissrailways.com/ en. This is more expensive, but you can print the card at home as you receive it through e-mail.
