    Hi,
thanks so much for your excellent site!
I was looking at your swiss pass page for the cheapest way to purchace the passes from Australia.
Even though most info says it is generally cheaper to buy passes in advance, the prices shown seem to be cheapest if bought in Switzerland at one of the large rail stations.
    Am I missing something?
Can we easily buy a 15 day swiss saver pass at Geneva airport once we land and it would be cheaper than trying to buy it in advance?

    thanks
    Wayne

    Hi Wayne,

Thanks for your compliments! As for rail pass prices: most of the time it’s indeed cheaper to buy online in advance. Some resellers change their prices quite frequently, and exchange rates change every day. Currently, that results in the price differences you’re referring to. Just keep an close eye on our site to see the latest prices and special offers. Geneva airport has a rail station so most of the passes can be purchased there for the local amounts as listed on our website.

One more tip: at the moment some resellers listed on our site are just slightly more expensive than local prices. However, we can’t take credit card/payment fees from your bank into account. A local purchase will be in Swiss francs and you may be charged for that by your bank. Our pass overview may include a reseller that accepts your own currency.

    Anyway, enjoy your traveling!
