Credit cards for point-to-point

    Hello,

My group will be buying point-to-point fares using our half-fare cards. Will it be possible to use a credit card (Mastercard from the US) for bus, gondola and train fares purchased on the spot? Or will need to carry cash?

We have a business credit card that does not have international fees that we would prefer to use if possible.

    Thanks,
    Remy

    Hi Remy,

You’ll be able to pay with credit cards in most cases, but I would recommend to have some cash (Swiss francs) available too. You may come across places where cards are not accepted such as buses and smaller gondolas. This topic may be interesting for you as well.
