I will travel from Luzern to Art-Goldau by IR 2311 and from Arth-Goldau to Milan by Eurocity 13. I have Swiss Travel Pass. Do I need seat reservations for the Swiss part of the journey? I have purchased online tickets for Italy part i.e., Chiasso to Milan.

    Regards, Aslam

    Hi Aslam,

Apart from a few panoramic trains, trains in Switzerland do not require reservations. So you can optionally book a seat but you are not required to do so.

    Have a good trip!
