We are staying 1 night at Eiger Guesthouse on 10 Sept 2016. We’re taking 3 superior mountain facing rooms.

Is there anything we need to be made aware of or need to ask the hotel for in advance?

The hotel staff gives me this information in email:

Muerren is car free. If you are travelling by car, you have to park in the valley and take the cable car/train to get to us. You can either park at the Parkhaus (Multi Story Parking) in Lauterbrunnen or outside in Stechelberg. On-line reservations in Lauterbrunnen are possible from 5 days onwards on: shop.jungfrau.ch/de/pa rking/booking .

If you arrive after 8.30 pm you can drive through Lauterbrunnen until Stechelberg and take the cable car from the Schilthornbahn station to Muerren. Please note that it is easier to come up from Lauterbrunnen as the Eiger Guesthouse is located opposite the little mountain train station in Muerren.

If you are travelling by train, you can find the train timetable under destination “Muerren BLM” (opposite us) or “Muerren LSMS” (10-15 min walking distance from us).
