    Hello!

I am trying to find the best way to get from Geneva to Zermatt and then Zermatt to Murren (different days). Any recommendations on train schedules? Is it best to learn the train schedule and then buy tickets once at the train stations?

    Thanks!

    Hi jbhancock!

Schedules can be found in the timetable. You can buy tickets at the train stations. However, I would recommend to see if a rail pass saves you money. I suppose you will also be using cable cars and mountain trains while in Zermatt and Mürren, and a pass will get you a discount on those. A Swiss Half Fare Card will save you money, but possibly one of the other passes is even better. That depends on your exact plans though, as explained here.
