    Hello Switzerland enthusiasts,

There’s a new book for anyone interested in Switzerland’s history, art, architecture and culture: “Glimpses of Medieval Switzerland” is a 181 page illustrated book written by Dr. A.S. Bhalla. He clearly spent a lot of time on researching Swiss castles, cathedrals and decorative fountains to write a book as detailed as it is.

The book starts with an overview of the history of Switzerland. Then it goes on with the architecture found in the city of Bern, like statues, fountains and the famous Clock Tower all tourists want to see. The town of Basel, far away from the Alpine regions, is included as well because of its historical town center. Next are Lucerne and Zug: wonderful towns in Central Switzerland. Of course the churches, fountains and town hall of the oldest town in Switzerland, Chur, are in the book too.

We give away one paperback copy of this book. If you’re interested, please do the following before January 15, 2016:
