Does anyone think it would be possible to do both the Glacier Express and the Bernina Express coming from Como area or nearby and end up heading for Frankfurt. We would love to do both. Please advise us. Many thanks ….

Also, if we are too late for the Glacier Express (ie early November when it is not running) is it possible to do that route on other trains or even busses …. Thanks ….

    Hi aleric003,

The exact options depend on your travel dates, but based on the Summer timetable you could take a train from Como to Lugano, then the Bernina Express bus to Tirano, and finally the Bernina Express train to Chur. The next day you can take the Glacier Express to Zermatt or just to Brig, and continue to Frankfurt (ideally the next day) from there.
