    Hi

I am in Siwss from may 21 to May 28 and already got 8 day swiss pass .

    1. Does the glacier express is fully covered by swiss pass?
    2. It starts from Zermatt till St.Moritz on 7 hr trip ,which means we have to book a hotel for our night stay and leave next day on the return route?

    Hi lakshmanmdu,

    1. It is fully covered by the Swiss Travel Pass (see the validity overview Annika referred to in your other thread). It is not covered by the Swiss Pass, but that’s a card for Swiss citizens you don’t need. You do need seat reservations for this train. That’s not included in the pass. Please see here.
    2. Yes, a night stay on one or both ends is the best way to do this. For hotel suggestions, please see the Zermatt and St. Moritz pages. The Glacier Express page also explains about alternatives if you don’t want to do the full route.

    Enjoy the ride!
