    Hi,

Can I make a seat reservation on the Glacier Express without Swiss pass. I’m planning to reserve seats first this month and later next month, I’ll buy the Swiss 4-days pass. Is it possible? I’m scared the seats will be fully booked as I’m planning to go there end of September so I think I better book the seats first as I’m on tight budget. Swiss pass are always available isn’t it? They won’t run out of Swiss pass, isn’t it?

    Thanks a bunch!

    Hi skeletonwork,

The Swiss Pass is now called Swiss Travel Pass, please see myswissalps.com/ train/ticketspasses/ practical/swisspass. You can buy seat reservations separately from passes (see here please). Although in your case (UK) it would make sense to buy the pass online as well. Not because they sell out, but you can get them online for nearly the same price, pay in GBP, and have it delivered for free or print it yourself. In the end it’s probably cheaper or at least equal, and for sure more convenient.

All retailers are listed on myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass/price.
