Pilatus Golden Round Trip possible in November?

    We plan on taking the Golden Round Trip to Mt Pilatus. However, I read that gondolas and aerial cableway will be closed until 1st week of November 2015. What’s the other way coming down and is it will worth choosing a day in Mt Pilatus when the gondolas are closed?

    That’s right, the cable car between Kriens and Pilatus won’t be running until November 6. The alternative is to get up and down by cog rail from Alpnachstad, as described at myswissalps.com/pilatu s/gettingthere. If weather is good, this is definitely worth it in my view. You can combine this with a boat trip over Lake Lucerne, if you like: myswissalps.com/boatla kelucerne.
