Gotthard Panorama Express – Bellinzona to Luzern

    I will be traveling from Lugano to Luzerne on May 19 (Fri). I would like to take the Section 2 & 3 of the Gotthard Panorama Express in reverse, that is from Bellizona to Lucerne. I tried to check for the GPE’s timetable via Gotthard but there were no results shown. Is it that it is not possible to take GPE in this way?

    Hi Kumyong,

    The Gotthard Panorama Express train only operates on weekends and public holidays until July 3.

    You can take a standard ‘non-panoramic’ train on the same route at any time. If you want to do this on Friday and not travel via the Gotthard tunnel – then search for the train schedules between Flüelen and Bellinzona: enter the via-station Göschenen to be sure to travel via the right route.
