I am currently studying abroad in Geneva and have a free weekend: Nov.15-16th. Am thinking about going to Grindelwald to do some hiking then, but am wondering if this is a bad idea due to the weather at that time. Thoughts??

    Welcome to MySwissAlps, michelleh!

November may indeed not be the most beautiful time of the year. But that’s just an average. Still it can be great depending on the weather of the day. You can best check the forecast one to two days ahead of time and then decide if Grindelwald is the best place, or somewhere else (e.g. the Valais, Ticino, etc.)
