    Hello,
I will be arriving by train from paris to Lausanne and need to buy a half-fare card there as well as train tickets. Do I just get the half-fare card from an attendent? Any special instructions that I need to know? Thanks

Hi sbrown888! All purchase options are listed in the upper right corner of the Swiss Half Fare Card page, under the header ‘Where to buy your Swiss Half Fare Card’. Just click ‘Show more information’ in the lower right corner of each purchase option for details and instructions.

Thanks for the quick reply! The information says that passes are available at the service desks of larger rail stations. I assume that Lausanne fits that description, but can you verify that the passes can be purchased at the Lausanne rail station? Thanks again,
    Steve

    Hi Steve,
I’m 99% sure you can buy a Swiss Half Fare Card at the Lausanne station. To be 100% sure you can best ask the SBB.
