I'm a lone senior citizen touring Switzerland for the first time with the 7-day Grand Tour of Switzerland by Electric car! Appreciate feedback or reviews about this escorted trip. Has anyone done it and is it worth it? Many thanks.

Hi Naomi, welcome to MySwissAlps!

It's the first time I heard about this tour by electric bus. Sounds nice and interesting. Unfortunately I don't know anyone who did this. I hope someone else does!

I heard about it through the Swiss embassy who are trying to promote it. However on following up on a suggestion by your forum - I contacted Swiss tours with their own multi-day itineraries and they remarked that the tour does not take the most popular routes!! I'm therefore more inclined, as a first time visitor to Switzerland, to try and see the more popular sites. Any suggestions how to do this in 14 days?

With two weeks you have enough time to do various scenic train and boat routes and also visit a few towns and regions along the way. Please see:
