Our group of four adults is passing by Interlaken by rental car in early October ( in a couple of weeks). We are very interested in taking the train trip up the mountain but are confused by the ‘how tos’, pricing, where we should board the train, etc. Can anyone give us few tips and possibly step-by-step instructions on how to arrange this? We don’t think the Swiss Rail Pass is to our advantage as this will be the only rail trip ( but might take a boat across Lac Leman to Geneva). But maybe it is!?

    Thanks for any info. John

Welcome to MySwissAlps John! Did you read our Jungfraujoch page? I think all your questions will be answered there.

The Swiss Half Fare Card is most commonly used by drivers.
