    Hi,
Iam planning to visit switzerland with my wife and 2 years old son in the month of May. We have 5 nights with break up like that we are coming from frankfurt and will be going directly to lucerne for 2 nights then interlaken for 1 night and then back to zurich for 2 nights. From there we will get a night train to amsterdam and 2 nights there. Please advise the best suitable for this trip. Also that we have a Eurail pass so do we need to buy any more tickets for scenic trains or going for pilatus and jungfrau.

    Regards,
    Imran

Hello Imran, and welcome! The Eurail Pass only provides discounts on some mountain trips, but you will have to buy additional (discounted) tickets. Please refer to our Eurail Pass page, where a PDF map can be downloaded showing the area of validity.

As for the rest of your question: browsing this forum and the day trip section of the Bernese Oberland will provide you with lots of tips for sightseeing in and near Interlaken and Lucerne. Highlights are the Jungfraujoch and/or Schilthorn, boat trips over the lakes, Pilatus and Rigi. Centrally located hotels in Interlaken, Lucerne, Zurich city and near Zurich Airport and are available. The timetable will help you to make a detailed planning.

Does that get you started? Best regards,
