Although we have been to Switzerland numerous times we have never been on the Golden Pass Express. We would like to travel from Geneva to Interlaken in January 2017 on the Golden Pass. Any tips would be very welcome. Thank you

    Hi Sheilapd, welcome to MySwissAlps!

All our tips are on our Golden Pass page.

If you will have a Swiss Travel Pass there’s nothing else to book. Just board the train and enjoy the ride.

That’s great thankyou. Now we just have to find a time table!

As we are only in Switzerland for five days we aren’t sure a pass is worth getting but will look into it

    thanks for your help

You’re welcome. Be sure to explore the tabs of that page as well and you’ll find the timetable link and lots of other details.

A pass almost always saves money unless you don’t visit any peaks. Feel free to post your itinerary in a new thread if you have any pass questions left.

    Thank you so much.

When we sort out our itinerary I will certainly let you see it – and will appreciate any comments.
