we also plan to use the golden pass line –please advise if it is important to have reservations on it .

Is it important to validate the pass before hand and also book the tickets to jungfrau region , mt pilatus etc

    Hello suchita,

A Swiss Saver Pass is the obvious choice in your case. Probably the 8-day pass is sufficient because you don’t need it while staying in Zurich. All information about it can be found here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisspass. The pass also includes the Golden Pass line. You don’t need reservations, see here.

Our guide about how to choose the best best may be helpful too.

You don’t need to book tickets to mountain tops in advance. The pass needs to be validated before you board your first train. See the Swiss Pass page I linked to for points of sale and more details about validation.
