How to make reservation Zurich to Zermatt?

    We are a family of 5 traveling from Zurich to Zermatt and I would like to ensure we sit together. How does one reserve a spot on a train ( or series of trains) once a Swiss Travel Pass has been purchased?

    Note that seat reservations aren’t common in Switzerland, and for some legs (such as Visp-Zermatt) not even possible. Depending on when you’re traveling (high or low season, time of the day) you may not have any problems finding seats together. The timetable indicates expected occupancy for all connections. Having said that, you can arrange for your reservations through several websites. You’ll find options under the “Price” tab at myswissalps.com/train/ reservations.
