    Hi saurabh23, welcome to MySwissAlps,

I’m sorry to hear that! It’s hard to say what went wrong here. As far as I know the pass should clearly mention 5 days or “4+1 days” or something like that. You won’t get an additional day just by presenting a normal 4 day pass. I would recommend not to wait until arrival but contact Rail Europe immediately and ask. You can go to http://www.raileurope.co.in/s pip.php?page=contact and click “Already booked” and “Send us a message”.

The trip to Schaffhausen is included in the Swiss Travel Pass. The Titisee is in Germany. I don’t know much about it, but I thought it was more of a Summer destination. Getting there is not covered in the Swiss Travel Pass. Train schedules can be found in the timetable.

We are going to visit Switzerland in Mar 2016. Does this promo apply for us? If not, what is the best time to buy the swiss pass for our trip?

    Welcome samit56!

No, the promo does not apply as it’s only for traveling until November 30. Please see my first post.

I’d recommend to buy your pass before mid-December as prices are low right now and I expect them to rise from late December/early January. No guarantees about that, but in either case the current prices are very good. Please see here:

Thanks Arno. Do you think from experience that there might possibly be a new Promo after this current one ends on Nov 30th?

    Hi samit56,

There will new promotions next year, but whether they’re available before March I don’t know. I guess you’ll need to choose between a good price now (for sure), or take the risk and see if something better comes along in early 2016.

    Hi Winza!

There’s nothing similar for Hong Kong. You can keep an eye on myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass/ promotions, because that’s where we list promotions as soon as they’re available. As discussed above, prices are good at the moment anyway, even without promotions. Please look here: myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass/ price.
