    Hi
i am trying to get from Interlaken to Nice. The only way I can seem to find is train to bern, then to geneva, then fly to nice. this isn’t too bad, as i have a swiss pass so don’t need to pay for the trains and the flight is only about 50 euro. it’s just time consuming. if anyone has a better option i’d be interested. is there anyway i can use my swiss pass for the entire trip? being hopeful here as i assume i can only use it in switzerland and not to cities outside the country.
    thanks for the help!

    Hi traveller,

There are several ways to travel from Interlaken to Nice completely by train. The quickest connections take 8.5 hours and 3 changes. You can best use the timetable to see which connection fits your plans best.

Your Swiss Pass is valid only for Switzerland and a handful of towns just across the border. You’ll find a link to a detailed map on the Swiss Pass page. In your case you would travel via Milan in most cases; your Swiss Pass would be valid until the Italian town of Domodossola. You need an additional ticket from there. I think it would cost about 50 euro as well.

    Enjoy your trip!
