Hi,we are planning for a trip covering Zurich/Interlaken/Jungfrau,Austria and Prague, like to find out if the Eurail Global covers the train fromZurich to Interlaken/Jungfrau.

Will only have a week in Switzerland, have been to some areas in Interlaken but not Jungfrau thus planning to go this time. Or would the European East Pass and Swiss Pass works better? Thank you for your help!

    Hi agnes428,

The Eurail Global pass covers Zurich to Interlaken for free and you will get a 25% discount from Interlaken to the Jungfraujoch. You can read all about it here.

I think a Eurail Global Pass could be a good choice in your case. For the final decision on which pass works best, you would need to list all your transfers and day trips in detail and do the math. See here for how that works. Note that you can currently get free extra travel days on a Eurail Global Pass, so that may make it more attractive for your plans. All pass promotions can be found here.

    Hi Arno,

Thank you for the information. Like to check for the 5 days Eurail select pass for 3 countries,if i reach Interlaken from Austria at noon on that day,is the pass still valid for the rest of the day for subsequent transport? Thank you!

You’re welcome! Eurail passes are valid for full days, so you can continue traveling after arrival in Interlaken. You can visit the Interlaken page for information about the town, day tips from there, hotel suggestions, etc.
