Thank you for your advise about my Europe trip in October. We bought the plan tickets already.

So, we thinking to purchase Eurail global pass to travel between 5 countries. I have read the benefits in each country that we are going to visit but still not really sure. Do we need to buy Swiss travel pass as well to travel within Switzerland?

    thanks,

    Hi Hubby001,

You do not need both passes at the same time, so my advice would be to consider these options:

    1. Only use the Eurail Global Pass for all countries.
    2. Use a 4-country Eurail Select Pass for the other countries and a Swiss Travel Pass for Switzerland.

The above links provide all details about the passes, including maps showing what’s included. This page explains how to compare passes price wise, that might be helpful too.
