Itinerary ideas for 10 days based at Leuk, Valais

    Travelling with caravan from England and staying 10th – 20th July at Camping Gemmi. Any suggestions from your experiences for trips that don’t involve me driving much. Accompanied by wife, 22 year old daughter and 20 year old son. All keen on wildlife, nature and photography.

    You’ll find lots of suggestions on myswissalps.com/valais /activities. If you scroll down there are hiking tips too. Nearly all activity suggestions on our website do not require a car. You can drive to the train station of Leuk, or Turtmann, and start your day trips there.

    Do you have any idea of parking fees at Leuk or as an alternative, is there a bus that passes Camping Gemmi to Leuk station

    Hi Steve,

    Parking costs CHF 5 per day. Public transport schedules can be found in the timetable.
