We will be driving into the Bernese Oberland area, but once we are there, we would like to take the trains up to the Jungfraujoch and the Schilthorn over the course of 3-4 days. Does the Bernese Oberland train pass cover the trains up to those peaks, or is that seperate? Is there a 3 or 4 day pass that will save us some money? I will have 2 kids under 16 with me.

    Welcome to MySwissAlps hhheather!

The Regional-Pass Bernese Oberland gets you to Mürren for free and from there it’s 50% off to the Schilthorn. Also, it gets you to Kleine Scheidegg for free. From there it’s 25% off to Jungfraujoch. You’ll find details on the map: myswissalps.com/ regionalpassberneseobe rland/ validity. You’ll pay a fixed one time amount for the children to take them along everywhere without further tickets. Please see the Price tab on that same page.

The Swiss Half Fare Card might be an alternative to consider.
