    Hi Arno/Annika,

We are staying at Grindelwald and will go to Jungfraujoch. By the way, we are 2 family groups: 2 adults and 3 children (ages 4, 7 and 9) and 2adults + 2 children (ages 7 and 3). Pls advise us on the following queries:

1-We want to go on 12/Jul/16, what is the best time of the day to travel to Jungfraujoch?

2-How do we buy tickets coming from Grindelwald?

3-Do we need to pre-book seats outward and return journey?

4-How many hours do we need to spend at Jungfraujoch?

All of the adults are holding a Swiss Travel Pass and children has Swiss Family Cards.

We only have this date, 12/July/16 to visit the Jungfraujoch.

    Thanks,

    Maribel

    Hi Maribel,

You’ll find all answers on our page myswissalps.com/ jungfraujoch. In short:

    1. The mornings are slightly better on average, but you’ll need to check the weather forecast.

2./3. See the Tickets tab of the page please.

    4. Anywhere from 2 hours to the entire day.

    Have fun!

As Arno said- check the weather forecast from local sources the day before or that day.

Weather changes frequently, and is unpredictable in the high alps.\if you go up onthe JungfrauJoch ona cloudy day, you pay a lot to see the inside of a cloud.
