We have a swiss flex pass. Travelling in mid august. Will be staying in luzern n we have a flight from zurich at 5 pm. Want to take lake luzern cruise.

1. Is it free with swiss pass?

2. We are staying v near to train station. Is lake luzern dock near it.

3. I cant find the time table in english. As time will be short we want to leave from luzern at 1 pm at latest. Will we able to have a short cruise trip?

Hi beenaeem

You might consider the boat trip from Luzern to Flüelen. Takes 2h 46m departing 8:12 and 10:12. You get to cover the full length of the lake – a lovely trip. Then train Flüelen to Zurich.

i looked at the timetable. as we have to check out from luzern by 11 am and need to be at zurich airport by 3 pm i am planning that we check out n leave the luggage at hotel , take the cruise at 10.00 and just go to meggan (will reach at 10.28) and take a rounnd trip. however not sure is there a round trip from meggen to luzern ? and what are its timings . or if not meggen any other short trip of lake luzern !

Hi Beenaeem,

There is no round-trip to Meggan unfortunately. You will have to make two single trips but it won’t work in your time frame with Meggan.

Use the timetable for Lake Lucerne boats here. You could try a quick trip to Verkehrshaus-Lido but it is only about 10-12 minutes on the boat. If you can leave at 9:12am you could go to Weggis (arrive 09:53) and then leave at 10:05 and arrive Luzern at 10:47.
