I read that there could be long lines at some of the most popular trains, gondolas in August. Is this true? Would I have to wait a long time at the Wilderswil to Schynige Platte, for example?

What gondolas and trains are the worst bottlenecks if there are any in August?

    Hello magentaspeaker,

Yes, it can be crowded in August, but – for example – Schynige Platte: if there are many people who want to go up (and/or down), they just put in more trains. There may be lines at gondolas, especially when the weather is fine everyone wants to go up (and I can’t blame them :-)). To me it’s never been a problem and yes, sometimes you will have to wait a little, but they do everything they can to get people where they want to go.

    Have a nice trip!
