Does use of local bus on a given day, alone, constitute the use of a “travel day” on a Swiss Travel Card?

    Hi Fisch4600,

Do you mean the Swiss Travel Pass or the Swiss Travel Pass Flex? Both these pages explain how it works, but I’ll be happy to elaborate once I know which exact pass you intend to buy.

The Flex. Thanks so much for your response.

You’re welcome! The Swiss Travel Pass Flex offers 3, 4, 8 or 15 days of traveling within a month. If you write a date in the designated area on the pass, you will have used a travel day. It’s up to you whether you use that day for just a local bus or an all day long train journey. Even if you don’t travel at all you will have used a day if you write down the date of that day.
