    Hi there!

I am reaching Zurich on my first ever visit to Switzerland. I have made a broad travel plan but need help with filling in the details. KINDLY HELP (I definitely want to go to Jungfaujoch and would love to go to Monte Carlo if possible). Will also appreciate advice on what kind of train ticket to buy. The plan is as follows:

27 May — Land in Zurich

    30-31 May — Laussane

    1-5 June — Grendalwald

    5-6 — Zurich

    Many thanks in anticipation

    Ravarsh

    Hi Ravarsh!

Thank you for posting your plan here. I suppose you mean Grindelwald? If so, that’s the best base for a day trip to the Jungfraujoch, please see myswissalps.com/ jungfraujoch. Monte Carlo is not in or near Switzerland. It’s on the French south coast, so you’d better not try to include that.

My recommendation is to check our town and regional pages and attraction pages, as there are a lot of suggestions there on what to do, which hotels to book, etc. Once you have a detailed plan, you can select a rail pass as explained here.
