    Hi everyone!

I will have one day to spend in the Lauterbrunnen area on December 11th. I’m very much into scenic hikes and am looking for some advice on what I should do. I’m thinking of taking the tram to Murren and doing the Northface Trail loop, then potentially hiking down to Gimmelwald and Stechelberg, taking the bus back to Lauterbrunnen. I haven’t been able to find much information on the conditions of these trails during the early winter. Is it realistic to do these trails in mid-December, particularly the Northface Trail? Would you recommend anything different? I’ve only got 1 day, I’m trying to find the most scenic and enjoyable option. Other thought was to maybe take the tram up to Wengen from Lauterbrunnen and do one of the many trails on that side. Thanks in advance for any input.

    Scott
