    Hi Paresh,

November is not one of the high seasons, so there might be a bit less activity. But there’s still plenty to do and see. Please review http://www.myswissalps.com/mo ntreux. Some attractions are the castle of Chillon and Rochers-de-Naye. Hotels can be found through our hotel page. The transfer from Zermatt to Montreux can be planned using the timetable.

We stayed at Hotel Splendid with Lakefront rooms. While not a budget hotel it was cheaper then many and the views of the Lake were lovely. Be mindful this is a rather “tired” and somewhat outdated hotel but we enjoyed the spacious rooms and the view. If you arrive by train be sure to take one of the public elevators down to the lakefront street on which the hotel is situated. Otherwise it is a long and steep walk down( and up, on the way back) especially with suitcases.

The walk to Castle Chillon along the lake was glorious- a riot of flowers, beautiful views, lovely architecture. The Castle itself is not to be missed! It is extraordinary!
