Mount Titlis combined Cable Car & Hike

    We are staying in Lucerne but would like to see the area around Mt Titlis

    Can you go by cable car from Engleberg part way to Trüebsee and hike from there to Mt Titlis? How long? How difficult in May? Due to fitness levels…..can my husband hike from Trüebsee while I continue to travel by cable car to the top and meet him there?

    What are our hiking options? Here in Australia I have just read about the wonderful Four Lakes Walk ….but don’t know if we have enough time in 1 day out of Lucerne & returning to Lucerne and also my fitness level although Ok, not as good as my husbands.
