One day train tour to best of Switzerland

    Hi, we are family of 4 adults and 1 child, would like to enjoy Swiss train experience with scenic or glacier views, we would prefer to pick us from hotel or nearby bus station and after trip drop to Zurich airport. We have one day free on 31st August and would like to use it viewing best of Switzerland by Train. We have two days tour already arranged in advance for Mt Titles and Lucerne. Our departure time from Zurich will be 10pm, need to reach Zurich airport as per local law requirement. Please advise best possible option. thanks in Advance.

    Hi AsimM,

    Welcome to our website! There are several options for scenic train ride. Please have a look at this list. The Golden Pass line (9 to 10 hours) makes sense. You can also do the Wilhelm Tell Express to Locarno, and proceed via the scenic small railway to Domodossola, and finally via Brig back to Zurich (11 hours, or less if you don’t take the boat). The timetable shows all the options. Are these the kind of trips you’re looking for?

    Will you have a rail pass during your stay? If so, these trips are free or at least discounted. If not, you can buy regular tickets.
