Hello again, thought you might like to see a few photos from our trip – i will need to send them in 3 posts because of the size of the files. In this post the first picture is a complete rainbow as seen on Lake Thun, the other two are from the August 1st parade in Interlaken.

    Hi Maggie,

It would be great to have your photos up here. There is indeed a file size limit. Perhaps you can e-mail them to us so that we can try to post them.

    Hi Maggie,

Thanks, I received them. Great pictures! Definitely a good snapshot of your activities this summer. I guess the file sizes were causing the upload issues. I resized them and attached them to this message, including your comments:

Picture 0882: rainbow taken on Lake Thun.
Picture 0916 and 0999: the August 1st parade in Interlaken.
    Picture 1213 and 1239: marmots at Rochers-de-Naye.
    Picture 1229: train to Rochers-de-Naye.
Picture 1257: the view from the balcony of our holiday apartment (Thun), featuring the castle.
    Picture 1261: the Matterhorn.
Picture 1380: one of the many carvings on the trail from Axalp – I would thoroughly recommend the postbus ride from Brienz up to Axalp to do this walk.
Picture 1407: one of my favourite alpine flowers with the delightful name “Grass-of-Parnassus.

thanks Arno – just realised pic 1229 is of the Rochers-de-Naye train not a marmot!! Have sent correct pic by email – it’s a cute marmot eating red clover someone fed it through fence!

That’s indeed a cute Murmeltier! I’ve added the picture. Thanks!
