Hello tetati. Please find all information on the Jungfrau Centenary Pass at the Jungfrau website. Buses are included in the general Swiss timetable: just enter your departure station and destination (mind the right spelling: Trümmelbachfälle) to see all connections. As for the hikes you have in mind: they could be possible by the end of May, but that depends on current weather and snow conditions at such altitudes. You can best consult the local tourism agencies (Interlaken, Wengen, Grindelwald) for up to date information on hiking routes.

Thx Annika, the sbb website is really powerful and convenient.
Actually I checked the Jungfrau website before. It only listed:
The pass entitles the holder to unlimited travel on the entire Jungfrau Railways network:
- Interlaken Ost – Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald
- Grindelwald – Kleine Scheidegg – Lauterbrunnen
- The highlight: a day excursion for Kleine Scheidegg – Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe
- Wilderswil – Schynige Platte (from 17 May 2012)
- Grindelwald – First (from 17 May 2012)
- Interlaken – Harder Kulm (from 21 April 2012)
- Lauterbrunnen – Grütschalp – Mürren
I have some doubt. The pass seems not to cover cableway
1)Grindelwald Grund to Wengen
2)Grindelwald to Pfingstegg
but cover cableway
Grindelwald to First
Is that right?
In the Jungfrau website, I couldn’t find how much discount Swiss Pass could get for each rail and cableway. Where could I find the information?

Hi tetati,
I think that’s the complete list. The other ones you mentioned are not owned by the Jungfrau railways and thus not included in this offer.
If you download the network map from the Swiss Pass page you can check where you get a discount. In short: 25% from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch and 50% elsewhere.

Adding a question to it. If Swiss pass is shown to the booking counter, will the fares with discounts will be automatically covered, or will have to spell out the routes together with discounts during booking.

Hi drdaipayan. If you show a valid Swiss pass at the counter and tell which route you’d like to take, you’ll receive the right ticket from the railway official including discounts (for mountain railways and cable cars; regular trains and buses don’t require any tickets as free traveling with a Swiss Pass is allowed there).

Thanks. Another point, does a swiss pass allows direct boarding the vehicle entitled for free travel or a ticket without any additional fare has to be obtained beforehand from the counter.

Hello drdaipayan,
If free travelling applies you don’t have to buy a ticket. You can just board the train, bus or boat you want to use. If a discount applies (for mountain transportation) you will have to buy an additional ticket.
For further information please view the Swiss Pass page – you will find an overview of the network on which your pass is valid.
Have a nice trip,
