We will arrive in Lauterbrunnen for eleven days tomorrow (May 18). The forecast is for continual rain. What can we do for fun when its raining in Lauterbrunnen? Thank you,

    Hi Wayne,

It does not look that bad to me (see http://www.srf.ch/meteo). The forecast is only reliable for one or two days ahead, and even if they predict rain it usually does not rain all day long. So you could still hike in the morning and do something indoors in the afternoon, for example. Some bad weather activities are a day trip to Bern, the Trümmelbach falls and the Ballenberg open air museum.

    Have fun!

And lake cruises are always fun in the rain. Very dramatic!

    Totally true.

You can go to Luzern, as well as the other places mentioned.

thank you for the advice.. You are dead on. We are in Lauterbrunnen now and the weather is sunny and almost warm. Wet Thursday apparently but nice on Fridaya and Saturday. SO we will relax and go with the flow.

Hope the flow does not include too much rain falling from the skies. 😉
