Ski from Lucerne

    my family and I are going to Lucerne tomorrow for three days, we would like to ski for a day. We are both beginners and intermediate std. Where could you suggest we go, we also do not have gear, hoping to hire it all. Any help will be much appreciated.

    Hi Plang,

    Sorry for the late reply! For others reading this: Engelberg/Mount Titlis would be an option, at about 45 minutes by train from Lucerne. And there’s also Flumserberg, at 2 hours from Lucerne.

    There isn’t much snow yet, and probably even less when you were there. Where did you go eventually?
