    Hi Team,

I have encountered a strange bug with the Forum using Safari on iOS 10 on an iPad.

When I try to type in the Message box nothing appears. If I close the keyboard and scroll down inside the message box the text I have typed is visible. When I try to type again the text disappears. It looks like the text box is automatically scrolling up so the typed text disappears behind the top of the text box. I’ve tried using iPad in Portrait and Landscape mode with the same result.

No such problem with Safari on a Mac.

Just thought I would let you know.

    Hi Rockoyster,

Many thanks for letting us know, much appreciated! I don’t have an iPad available so couldn’t try for myself yet, but I will report this to the software supplier. Hopefully they know what’s going on.

Which exact iPad do you have?

I just got my hands on an iPad and reproduced the problem you reported. I’m not sure what’s causing it but hopefully the supplier can fix it. It will take time though.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Arno,

I am using a 4th Gen iPad. Typing this “blind” so hope it makes sense. 😉

    Hi Arno,

I just upgraded my iPad to iOS 10.3. Thought it may have fixed this problem. It hasn’t.

But I have discovered I don’t need to close the keyboard in order to scroll the message text back into view. So I can get by if I type really carefully.

    Hi Rockoyster,

Thank you for the additional details! I just heard back from the specialists: this will be solved, but there is no time frame yet. So for the time being using a different browser is the way to go I’m afraid.
