Hello,

I am just trying to order 2 Swiss Half Fare Cards via ACP Rail and can’t work out how to add the Swiss Family Card to it for my children. Can I do this in advance or do I have to get it from the train station when we arrive in Switzerland?

Hello EJCSwiss, and welcome to MySwissAlps!

ACP Rail does not offer Swiss Family Cards. You can order the Swiss Half Fare Cards for the adults through http://www.acprail.com/rail-passes/swiss-half-fare-card. In Switzerland, you can visit any staffed train station, show them the cards, and they will issue a free Swiss Family Card.

An easier way is to order through http://www.swisstravelsystem. co.uk. You can order the Swiss Half Fare Cards and the Swiss Family Card here. After filling out your address, they will show the delivery options. Pick “Online Ticket” from the bottom of the list. They will e-mail the cards (no delivery fees), so you can print it at home. They’re slightly cheaper too (ACP recently increased their prices).
