Hi, I am from Singapore and understand that the Swiss Half Fare Card can be purchased at any main railway stations when we reach Switzerland. However, there is an excursion to Titlis at CHF55 that we are interested to buy as well. Can this excursion trip also be purchased when we reach switzerland or must it be bought on line before we reach Switzerland?

    Thank you.

    Siu May

Hello Siu May. No, you don’t have to book this excursion in advance. Just get to the valley station in Engelberg; you can purchase your tickets there, before boarding the cable car. Enjoy your trip!

Thank you for the reply, but can I just confirm that I can still enjoy the price at CHF55 even if I buy at the valley station in Engelberg? The price is very attractive! 😉

Hello mayemays. I don’t know the details of the price you found online, but regular fares for Titlis can be found at the Titlis website.

Hello Siu May. That’s the same price you have to pay when buying your tickets (for Titlis, which is 50% off with a Swiss Half Fare Card and the Ice Flyer, which is not discounted) at the valley station. But if you like to order in advance, you can do so here along with a Swiss Half Fare Card.

    Hi! Siu May,
We had experience from Zurich to Mt Titlis in last mth. I suggest you buy the train ticket from Zurich to Engelberg on site.
Then buy the ticket to go up the top of Mt Titlis when u reach Engelbergon. It is very easy. So, there will be no worries once u want to change the itinerary
